Panasonic SDR-S26K Camcorder

The Panasonic SDR-S26 SD Flash Memory camcorder features a 70x zoom lens that has the power you need to take dramatic close-ups of even distant subjects. But with long-distance zoom shots, even a tiny bit of hand shake has a huge effect on picture quality. That's where optical image stabilization comes in. Together, they provide clear, dynamic images of distant subjects in both still and motion images.

Features the iA function which automatically judges the scene and makes the best possible settings, so you get wonderful shots in virtually any situation. Forget about bothersome settings during important scenes and trust iA to give you the optimal shots.

With the included software VideoCam Suite, it's easy to upload a video clip to YouTube website for sharing videos with people all around the world. Expands the fun of video shooting even more.

Optical 70x Ultra Zoom
This 70x zoom lens has the power you need to take dramatic close-ups or get remarkable shots of even distant subjects. But with long-distance zoom shots, even a tiny bit of hand shake has a huge effect on picture quality. That's where optical image stabilization comes in. Panasonic's Advanced O.I.S. shifts a corrective lens as you shoot to help eliminate the effects of hand shake, so you get clear, sharp shots even at high zoom levels. It's an essential feature for getting the most out of this incredible zoom lens.

Advanced O.I.S.
Panasonic's Advanced O.I.S. helps suppress the effects of hand-shake as you shoot, for both motion and still images. This system uses gyrosensors to detect even tiny amounts of hand-shake, then shifts a lens and adjusts the optical axis to compensate - all at an astounding 4,000 times per second. It also covers approximately 3 times the stabilization area of our previous SD9 model. Because the system is optical, there's minimal loss of image quality even when viewed on a large-screen TV.

iA (Intelligent Auto)
Sometimes a scene is backlit or too dark, or it's difficult to get a good focus on the subject. Adjusting the settings every time is not only a hassle, it can be very tricky. That's where iA comes in. This powerful function senses the shooting conditions and automatically makes the settings and activates functions that will deliver optimal results. With both motion and still images, iA lets you forget about bothersome settings and makes it easy to capture beautiful, well-focused images.

Face Detection AE/AF
This mode captures faces beautifully. Face Detection automatically senses the ambient lighting and adjusts the exposure accordingly, so faces are bright and easy to see.

Shake Detection: Advanced O.I.S.
When hand-shake is detected while shooting, the Advanced O.I.S. system is automatically activated to compensate for blurring and produce beautiful recorded images. Because the system is optical, there's only minimal loss of image quality even when viewed on a large-screen TV.

Scene Selection: Intelligent Scene Selector
The shooting conditions are detected, and the optimal Scene mode is automatically selected. Even if the subject should change, there's no need to manually redo the settings, so you can concentrate entirely on your shot.

One-touch Navigation and Joystick Control
The joystick makes the camera much easier to use, letting you control all basic operations quickly. As you shoot, just watch the image in the monitor and follow the instruction guide. You can handle a number of operations quickly and easily, without even taking your eye off the subject.

Roscoby Bow & Gun Mounted Video Camera

Panasonic HDC-SD9 Camcorder
Sorry, HDC-SD9 SOLD OUT!

3CCD Camera System, High-definition Video to Flash Memory, 1920 x 1080 Progressive Recording, 10x Optical Zoom; Advanced Mega Optical Image Stabilizer, Face Detection Technology; Intelligent Shooting Guide, 5.1-Channel Surround Sound; Zoom Mic Feature, Compatible with SD/SDHC memory cards

Panasonic HDC-SD9 Camcorder

The Panasonic HDC-SD9 features Advanced O.I.S. and the 3CCD camera system. Advanced O.I.S. prevents blurry images caused by unsteady hands as you shoot, so images are clear, sharp and beautiful when displayed on a big TV screen. The 3CCD camera system is used in most professional broadcasting equipment because it draws out the full potential of full-HD.

The SD9 includes Face Detection functionality. Face Detection automatically locates any faces in the picture, adjusts the exposure, contrast and skin tone to achieve optimal results. This ensures that your subjects will always have clear, attractive expressions. The Intelligent Shooting Guide also helps you to make fewer shooting mistakes.

High Quality Picture and Sound

Digital Cinema Mode

- Progressive 1080/25p  Set the SD9 to Digital Cinema mode and shoot in the progressive 1080/25p format (25 pictures per second). Progressive scanning captures clear, vibrant images with intricate detail. You also get faithful images with an appealing film-like quality.

- Digital Cinema Color with VIERA  This mode automatically switches the camcorder to the optimum setting for the Digital Cinema Color of the VIERA plasma TV series. Colors recorded in this mode look richer than those recorded using the conventional Panasonic standard. For example, the subtle shades of red and gold in flowers, and the greens of leafy trees are remarkably true to life.

3CCD Camera System
Most professional broadcasting cameras use the 3CCD camera system, with its superior color reproduction. In a 1CCD system, all of the incoming light information is processed by the same CCD. The more advanced 3CCD system uses three distinct CCDs for processing, so there is absolutely no light loss. The 3CCD camera system draws out the full potential of full-HD image quality.

Advanced O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer)
Panasonic's Advanced O.I.S. uses gyro-sensors to detect hand-shake, then shifts a lens and adjusts its optical axis to compensate. And Advanced O.I.S. checks and compensates for hand-shake around 4,000 times per second. Advanced O.I.S. enables finer, more effective hand-shake compensation. Also, because the system is optical, no image quality is lost. With Advanced O.I.S., you'll capture images that are clear, sharp and beautiful on a big TV screen.

Leica Dicomar Lens
Leica AG of Germany is the manufacturer of fine cameras and lenses favored by photographers everywhere. The Leica Dicomar lens featured in the HDC-SD9 was developed specifically for full-HD camcorders, these lens systems are made using a multi-coating process that prevents light reflection and glare, which can make colors bleed and images appear washed out. It also prevents rings of light, or "ghosts".

HD Crystal Engine
Panasonic took the advanced imaging circuitry used in our professional equipment and adapted it for home use in the HD Crystal Engine. The result is a high-speed processing unit that can handle the huge volumes of data captured in high-definition video recordings. The HD Crystal Engine also incorporates a new system that improves resolution and reduces noise while achieving a more compact size and lowering power consumption.

5.1 Channel Surround Sound and Zoom Microphone and Focus Microphone
Each of the five built-in microphones of the SD9 works individually to record sounds from the front, sides, and back. When viewed on a system with Dolby Digital 5.1-channel sound, the real-life acoustic field brings even greater power to images such as festival parades, concerts, or birds in nature.

10x Optical Zoom
Distant subjects can be enlarged so they appear to be right up close. This allows dynamic shots of both motion and still pictures.

Panasonic SDR-H40 Camcorder

Advanced O.I.S. Reduces Camera Shake, Even at 42x Zoom
The SDR-H40's 42x optical zoom lens has the power you need to take dramatic closeups or get remarkable shots of even distant subjects. But with long-distance zoom shots, even a tiny bit of hand shake has a huge effect on picture quality. That's where Panasonic's Advanced Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) comes in, suppressing the effects of hand shake as you shoot. The system uses gyrosensors to detect hand shake, then shifts a lens and adjusts the optical axis to compensate. This all happens a remarkable 4,000 times per second. And because the system is optical, no image quality is lost. Thanks to Advanced O.I.S., the images you capture look incredibly clear, sharp and blur-free even at high zoom levels.

Non-Stop Shooting Fun with 40GB Hard Drive
The SDR-H40's 40GB internal hard disk drive lets you record continuously for up to 36 hours (in LP mode) without changing a disc, tape or other recording media.

Anti-Shock Shield Helps Protect Your Memories
Panasonic's Anti-Shock Shield helps protect recorded video data from damage due to jolts and impact. The Drop Detect function senses if the camera is falling and moves the head away from the hard disk. The Floating Structure protects the hard disk should the camera fall or be dropped. And the Buffer Memory automatically backs up data while the camera is falling.

One-Touch DVD Copying
This hard disk drive camcorder has a USB Host function, which lets you connect directly to a DVD burner (sold seperately) via a USB cable. You can then copy recordings from the hard disk to a DVD disc by simply pressing a button.

Edit Your Videos
You can transfer the motion-image data from the SD card or the camcorder's hard drive right to your PC using your PC's USB port. Then with the included VideoCam Suite 1.0 software, you can easily put scenes in a different order and delete the ones you don't want. When you're finished with your video production, you can resave the edited version onto an SD memory card and a DVD disc.
