The Gun And Bow Camera Mount has a standard tripod fitting, so most cameras will fit. We recommend the mini cameras because the springs on the shock absorber system are designed for cameras that weigh less than two pounds. Through all of our testing we have found that the mini DVD disk cameras and the hard drive cameras produce the best footage, because they have greater stabilization features, so the impact shot looks great. On some shots with the mini DV tape cameras you might experience some pixel corruption at the point of impact. This can be edited because it usually lasts for about a tenth of a second. We strongly recommend the mini DVD disk and the hard drive cameras, because they have no pixel corruption during recoil. If you want to see your arrow flight with archery equipment we strongly recommend the use of the new lighted arrow nocks along with a mini DVD disk or hard drive camera. And remember, anything you can do to reduce recoil or shock to your gun or bow will only make your footage better.
